The Control 30 combines high-power components and advanced engineering to deliver exceptional sound quality from a compact design. It features a coaxial component layout with a symmetrical mid-high frequency horn that provides consistent performance whether the speaker is oriented vertically or horizontally. The speaker offers smooth frequency response and wide coverage across the entire listening area. Its high-quality line distribution transformer supports both 70V and 100V distributed lines, with a 4-ohm bypass setting for multiple speaker connections on a single line. The InvisiBall mounting system, known for ease of installation and theft deterrence, allows up to 41° horizontal and 36° (horn end inward) or 23° (woofer end inward) vertical rotation. Weather resistance is maximized with a neodymium magnet LF woofer featuring a fiberglass-Kevlar composite cone and a coaxial mid-high driver with anodized aluminum and titanium components. The grille is UV-resistant and protected by WeatherMax multi-layer foam to prevent water ingress.

The Control 30 is engineered for exceptional sound performance with its high-power components, computer-optimized horn, and advanced coaxial design. Utilizing patent-pending cabinet manufacturing techniques, this compact loudspeaker delivers smooth, high-fidelity audio with extended bandwidth and well-defined coverage. The symmetrical mid-high frequency horn ensures versatile installation, performing equally well in vertical or horizontal orientations. Its smooth frequency response and cone-midrange performance provide consistent sound quality across the entire listening area.

A top-quality line distribution transformer minimizes insertion loss and reduces saturation, making the Control 30 suitable for both 70V and 100V distributed speaker lines. When set to bypass, the speaker’s 4-ohm impedance allows multiple units to be connected on a single loudspeaker line. The InvisiBall mounting system, which is easy to install and adjust, offers a high degree of theft deterrence, allowing for horizontal rotation of up to 41° off-axis and vertical rotation of up to 36° (horn end inward) or 23° (woofer end inward). Optional attachment points for the MTC-30UB U-bracket facilitate compact installation, especially in low-profile or under-balcony setups.

The Control 30 is designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions. The low-frequency woofer features a fiberglass and Kevlar composite cone with a pure butyl rubber surround and a rear-loaded basket to minimize exposure. The coaxial mid-high driver includes an anodized aluminum cone with an EPDM rubber surround and a pure titanium diaphragm in the high-frequency compression driver. The entire coaxial component is protected by an acoustically transparent screen. The grille, made of thermoset composite coated steel, is resistant to UV and humidity, backed by WeatherMax multi-layer foam to prevent water intrusion. Rust-resistant nickel/zinc terminals ensure secure connections, and an MTC-PC2 sealed-entrance cover is included to protect the speaker’s terminals further.
