The Control 24C Micro and Control 24CT Micro are compact, high-performance in-ceiling speakers designed to deliver full, rich sound quality for various audio applications. Both models feature a low distortion design and a smooth, natural frequency response, making them ideal for medium-volume business music systems. They are also well-suited for medium to low SPL segments of larger or louder systems. For enhanced low-frequency output, these speakers can be paired with one of the Control Contractor subwoofer models, which further extends their bass response. Their voicing is compatible with other JBL Control Contractor loudspeakers, allowing for seamless integration and mixing within zones without the need for additional equalization.

The Control 24C Micro and Control 24CT Micro are designed for easy installation. Each speaker is delivered with essential installation components, including the backcan, grille, support backing bracket, and tile rails. This setup ensures a quick and straightforward installation process, eliminating the need for access above the ceiling.

To facilitate installation, a cutout template is included to assist with marking the installation area. An innovative C-shaped support backing plate is provided, which can be installed from below through the cutout. This plate reinforces the ceiling material and supports the speaker’s mounting. For suspended ceiling installations, tile bridge rails can be screwed onto the C-plate to extend support to the T-channel grid, enhancing stability.

Once the speaker is fitted through the cutout, it is securely held in place by mounting tabs that tighten onto the C-plate, if used, or directly onto the ceiling material. This design ensures a secure fit and reliable performance.
